Benefits of Purchasing
INDUSTRIALLY TREATED Seeds
- All products recommended for industrial seed treatment are evaluated for seed compatibility to prevent loss of germination and vigor during storage.
- In industrial seed treatment, coating additives are used to ensure excellent adhesion of active ingredients to the seed, minimizing product loss through dust.
- High-tech seed treaters reduce the risk of physiological damage to the seed, allow for better coating, and ensure accurate product dosage.
- The infrastructure of seed treatment centers is designed to meet demand and comply with all quality and safety standards.
- Choosing treated seeds helps avoid direct exposure of farm workers to chemical products.
- Opting for industrially treated seeds saves time and labor on the farm and eliminates the risk of treatment errors (such as incorrect product selection or dosage).

After selecting the right germplasm, it’s time to define which seed treatment will be used to protect the crop.
The presence of pests, diseases, and nematodes during early crop stages can result in stand loss, uneven plant distribution, and, ultimately, reduced yield.
To support farmers during this critical period and safeguard the crop’s productive potential, Limagrain offers industrial seed treatment solutions.
FORTENZA DUO
Composition: FORTENZA®, CRUISER®, and the fungicide MAXIM® Advanced
Active ingredients: Cyantraniliprole, Thiamethoxam, Metalaxyl-M, Thiabendazole, Fludioxonil
Recommended for corn and soybean crops, Fortenza Duo is a powerful tool to complement biotech traits by enhancing larval control and expanding the pest control spectrum.
The presence of Cyantraniliprole is essential, especially under pressure from soil pests and caterpillars (Spodoptera frugiperda, Agrotis ipsilon, and Elasmopalpus lignosellus).
Thiamethoxam broadens the control spectrum for Southern green stink bug and corn leafhopper in corn. In soybeans, it supports control of whitefly, soil pests, bean leaf beetle, and Dichotomius spp. ("soybean armadillo").
Results
(Artificial infestation with Spodoptera frugiperda)
Hybrid: Cry1A.105 + Cry2Ab2
Visual at 21 days after emergence (DAE)
